Have you ever failed a test? Have you ever lost a game? Have you ever been cheated on? Have you ever applied for a position, and did not get the job? These are examples of the ball dropping. Typically, we respond to the ball dropping by beating ourselves up, focusing on the fact that we disappointed ourselves and others, lamenting over the idea that we are not good enough, and how undeserving we are of that moment. At times and many times, the ball will drop. What are you going to do when it does?
